- Exfoliate properly before with an oil-free exfoliant. Start at the top of the body and work down
- Do NOT apply any products to your skin. Products will create a barrier. This includes deodorant, lotion, perfumes, prep sprays, make-up.

NOTE: Wearing deodorant with alumnimum before your spray tan will interact with the DHA and turn the skin green.
What is DHA?
DHA is a color additive derived from sugar that turns dead skill cells brown. I use Norvell products and you will NEVER look orange.

- Wait 1-5 hours for your color to develop before rinsing with WATER only. The longer the tan processes the bronzer your tan will be.
- After 1-5 hours, shower with lukewarm water ONLY. Do NOT use any soap, shampoo, oils, or lotion for 24 hours.
- Use the palm of your hand to rub the tan into your skin to avoid streaks.
- After your shower, PAT dry

- After your first shower with soap, you can apply deodorant, lotion, and perfumes. You can workout, sweat, and wear your regular clothes.
- It's a good idea to sleep in loose fitting, long sleeved and long pants the first night to avoid skin-to-skin contact because it will cause unsatisfactory results.
- Moisturize your skin regularly now to maintain your spray tan.
TIPS TO MAKE YOUR TAN LAST LONGER
- Take lukewarm showers, nothing too hot, with a pH balanced body wash. PAT dry when you get out. Keep your skin hydrated on the outside, as well as from the inside.
- Certain oils like mineral, grapeseed, and coconut oil will actually strip your tan.

- Make sure you schedule all other spa treatments BEFORE you tan. This includes facials, massages, waxing, and mani/pedis. If you shave the morning of, rinse it off with ice-cold water afterwards as this will close the pores, making sure the tan doesn't get caught in there and appear as little brown dots. Also, use a new razor blade, as this will help you avoid having your tan fade unevenly.
- It is EXTREMELY important to not get wet (includes washing your hands), sweating, swimming, or getting caught in the rain within the first 1-4 hours
- If you work outor play spots, you might find that the tan fades unevenly too. If that's the case, exfoliate your body every couple of days and moisturize every day to ensure your tan is even and looks flawless.
- Your tan will be at it's best at 24-96 hours. It will last between 5-10 days. Your face and hands will last a shorter amount of time, since you're washing them for frequently.
